I hate learning life lessons. They are usually predicated with catastrophic events and take a tremendous toll on your happiness and well-being. They are most often excruciatingly painful and involve long protracted suffering which eventually renders some nugget of truth or discovery that strengthens you in some way. Well, if given the choice, I think I’ll have to pass.
