The Ethics of Sex and Narcissism

Weaponized Proxy Sex with a Narcissist is Not What you Think

Let me begin by making it emphatically clear, there are no ethics in a sexual encounter with a narcissist. The seven principles of ethics are integrity, respect, responsibility, fairness, compassion, courage, and wisdom. The person with NPD (narcissistic personality disorder) has none of these.

They do not ascribe to the same rules of conduct that ordinary NTs (neurotypicals) play by. Add to that the fact that current society has opened up to accept pretty much anything and everything when it comes to “hooking up,” and conventional rules that shaped sexual relationships have become corrupted by new norms around fair play and sexual equity.

In the past, most people embraced the status quo of marriage and children, monogamy, fidelity, and the limitations and benefits of such commitments.

Times have changed.

Those days are gone.

Enter the person with pathological narcissistic personality disorder or malignant psychopathy. Forget about traditional values. They have been replaced in large part by promiscuity, selfishness, hedonism, immediate gratification, and a revolving door of meaningless recreational sex.
