After much research and intensive study and training, I acknowlege that although Cluster B disorders have some distinct differences, there are also some profound similarities. The DSM is always under revision when it comes to classifying and labeling the different disorders. Many times you may have a malignant pathological narcissist with psychopathic traits and schizoid features as well as multi-personality delusional characteristics. there are so many overlapping conditions and co-morbidities, hence the term narcopath and all the different types of narcissists are quite dissimilar. New studies even indicate that things like borderline may actually be a variation of primary or secondary psychopathy. Almost all Cluster B disordered people require external validation, lack empathy, have selective amnesia and object inconstancy, have brain irregularities, and abnormal emotional affect and dysregulation. It is also suspected now that narcissists have a similar brain deficiency at birth or at least a predisposition that is triggered by narcissistically abusive parents or caregivers. It is only recently getting the attention it deserves since so many people are harmed, and there is still so much yet to be discovered.
